I’ve always enjoyed writing, which led me to study journalism (way back in the days of actual-factual journalism). After a career focused on high-tech marketing and messaging it’s now time for something different… a bit of whimsical wandering in the unfolding field of…fun!

The purpose of OliveWords is to explore ways to learn from, laugh at, and be inspired by words and their cerebral sister: writing.

Warning: the road may be rocky, rutted, or non-existent at times.  Along the way you may stumble on random etymological explorations or hold your breath as “Grumpy Grammar Girl” lets off some steam.
